I am a little late getting to this, but better late than never right?? I have created this blog to keep Daddy in the loop to what is going on here at home so he can keep up with us on our day to day activities. Hopefully, he will feel more involved in our lives still while he is away. So here we go.
So today I woke up a little bit later than normal. I got Miss Skylar eating breakfast then I fed Aydan. Afterwards, we went to Wal Mart and did not have fun there. I had gotten all this stuff for the kids and Jon and when it came time to check out, apparently there weren't enough funds to cover the transaction. So that was pretty frustrating. I would love to know where all our money went, but the bank will not tell me the pin # to our account because its in Jon's name, even though its a joint account. Yeah, that doesn't make any sense to me either. Something about privacy. Whatever. So, after our afternoon snack/lunch we went to the park and played for a while. Of course, Skylar didn't want to leave. When we got home I started to make dinner and we ate. After, we went on our nightly walk. We walked for about an hour and 15 minutes. I am really liking these walks. It feels good to be getting out and doing something. Now it is 9:45pm and Skylar is ready for bed.
I have also come up with another way to keep Jon "in the loop" and that is to take one of the daddy dolls everywhere with us and take pictures of him doing stuff that daddy would normally do. I think it will be fun for Skylar and nice for Jon also to see that he is still there doing these things with us in spirit even though hes not physically here. Til next time, God Bless.
